So this semester, I’ve been taking The Beat: The City which is a journalism class at NYU where you pick a neighborhood or ethnic community in New York City and report on that beat for the whole semester. I’ve been reporting on “Muslim New York” so my stories focus on Islam and the Muslim community everywhere from Bay Ridge to Queens.
Here’s my last photo essay. I will put up my final story once I do the edits and double check my AP style book.
